SHARED-DEVICE SESSION

Who is learning on this device?

Create one group per device. Learners take turns, discuss first, then submit one agreed answer.

Session evidence and classroom progress

This dashboard reports only activity stored on this device. Shared-device data should be interpreted as group interaction, not individual mastery.

Group	Learners	Progress	First-try accuracy	Hints	Attempts	Last active

How to interpret these measures

Progress is the proportion of questions eventually answered correctly. First-try accuracy is stricter and better reflects initial understanding. Hint use and repeated attempts are learning-process indicators, not failures. Because learners may share one device and negotiate answers together, these measures describe the recorded group session.

Current PhD research alignment

Autonomy: learner control over pace, hints, retrying, resuming and purposeful help-seeking, while recognising device-sharing and connectivity constraints.

Competence: immediate feedback, error recognition, hints, worked explanations, repeated attempts and visible progress.

Relatedness: group discussion, rotating participation and teacher/peer support.

Evidence boundary: the current theoretical framework is Self-Determination Theory only. Device analytics do not prove individual mastery, and the platform must not make causal claims about Khan Academy or learning gains.
